GUIDELINES & EXPECTATIONS FROM PARENTS

Together We Shape Futures:
"A child’s greatest strength lies in the partnership between home and school, where trust, guidance, and shared values come together to nurture confident, responsible, and successful individuals."

At Adharsheela Global School, we firmly believe that parents are a child's first teachers and lifelong mentors. A strong partnership between parents and the school creates the foundation for a child's holistic growth, academic success, and emotional well-being. Together, we strive to provide an environment that nurtures learning, character, and lifelong values.

1. Partnership in Learning

• Encourage regular study habits, timely completion of assignments, and active participation in academic and co-curricular activities.
• Motivate your child, appreciate sincere efforts, and avoid unhealthy comparisons with others.
• Regularly check the Almanac, circulars, messages, assessment reports, and all official school communications.
• Ensure your child remains regular in studies and develops a positive attitude towards learning.

2. Discipline, Values & Positive Behaviour

• Instil values of honesty, respect, responsibility, discipline, empathy, and good manners in your child.
• Encourage regular English conversation at home to strengthen communication skills and confidence.
• Never criticise teachers, school authorities, or the institution in the presence of your child, as mutual respect strengthens the child’s faith in education.
• Teach children to respect teachers, support staff, fellow students, and the school property.

3. Health, Safety & Well-being

• Ensure your child attends school regularly, remains punctual, and maintains personal hygiene.
• Provide healthy and nutritious tiffin along with a napkin and encourage healthy lifestyle habits.
• Do not send costly articles such as jewellery, mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any prohibited items to school.
• Ensure your child follows the prescribed school uniform and grooming standards.

4. Communication & School Etiquette

• Maintain a positive, respectful, and cooperative relationship with teachers and the school community.
• Visit the school with a valid Parent ID Card and follow the prescribed dress code and campus decorum.
• For any concern related to your child’s academics, behaviour, or well-being, communicate through the appropriate school channels.
• Parents are welcome to meet the Principal, Coordinators, or teachers with a prior appointment to discuss suggestions, concerns, and their child’s overall progress.

5. Administrative Responsibilities

>• Ensure timely payment of school dues and maintain records of fee receipts and important school documents.
• Inform the school immediately in writing regarding any change in residential address, contact numbers, or other important details.
• Apply for leave only in unavoidable circumstances and provide supporting documents wherever required.

Let your life lightly dance on the edges of times like dew on the tip of a leaf. - Rabindranath Tagore
