- The child is informally evaluated throughout the year on various parameters.
- The academic year is divided into 4 evaluation tests.
- First two rounds of evaluation test are cumulated as ‘I-TERM’ and last two rounds are cumulated as ‘II – TERM’.
- Promotion of child is based on yearly performance. There is no Formal Examination like Half Yearly or Annual Examination..
- The child’s performance is assessed and documented in the form of ‘Grades’ in-stead of ‘Marks’ to eliminate the draw backs inherent in ranking system.
- In these classes child is trained to work hard for his/her own benefit and growth.
The students of the classes III to XII are assessed both in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
For the holistic development of the student different co-curricular activities are carried out in the school and the students are graded term wise on a 3 point grading scale (A=Outstanding, B= Very Good and C= Fair). The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork are the generic criteria for grading in the co-scholastic activities.
The assessment structure and examination for classes III to XII comprises of two terms: ‘TERM I’ and ‘TERM II’ as explained below.
